Fever Wins Best Song for Pop and Electronica

Out of all my years in the entertainment industry in television, radio, and now music, I had never won anything for my work. This morning when I woke up that had all changed, when I read the email stating that I had won for my rendition of Fever, I was both excited and I felt a sense of accomplishment. I will tell you that winning these awards helped to further my commitment that I made to myself years ago after my father passed away to continue to go after what I want when it comes to a career in music.

First, I would like to thank my producers my cousin Michael E. Williams, II of Platinum Keyz Recordings of Lansing, MI for producing the album version of FeverI know that you worked very hard with the production of this song, and I thank you for your commitment to this project.

Secondly, I would like to thank Marvin E. Hairston a.k.a DJ Extreme Detroit, for producing such a hot remix of Fever,  that had me dancing from the moment that I heard it.

To my vocal coach Eve Hehn, thank you for helping me with my music and cheering me on.

To my wonderful husband, thank you for your undying love, support, and encouragement and putting up with me during this long journey, this is just the beginning.

Thank you, Akademia for this awesome honor I will certainly cherish this award as it is my first.  To my family, fans, and DJs thank you so much for requesting and playing my music at the clubs. I promise that I will work to the best of my ability to deliver the very best of what I have to offer in music.
